Cleanthony Early, the New York Knicks player that was robbed and shot in December, may be getting justice soon.  Feds are investigating a Brooklyn man they arrested for an armed robbery outside the Purlieu Club in Astoria, Queens and they have reason to believe he may also be connected to the robbery crew that shot Early.
27 year old Kareen Brown was arrested for allegedly robbing three people outside of a Queens nightclub on September 6. Much like what happened the night Early was robbed, Kareem Brown and his three accomplices allegedly boxed in the victims’ car with their cars.  The victims gave up a cell phone, two necklaces, and a wristwatch. There were also shots fired at the scene.Â
The situation is eerily similar to Early’s December 30th incident at Cityscapes Gentleman’s Club. Cleanthony Early’s Uber car was boxed in, he was robbed for his phone and gold necklaces worth $9,000 before being shot in the knee. The difference in Early’s situation is that he was approached by 6 thieves instead of 4.Â
Could this be a coincidence or have the cops gotten a new lead?Â
