A shocking video shows a man being attacked with a bat while walking down a New York street.

The video shows the attacker pulling a bat from his pants and then hitting the victim in the back of his head.

The video seems to suggest the suspect was targeting the victim and may have been trailing him before the vicious assault. The attacker also seemed enraged and is heard screaming at the victim as he lays on the ground, TMZ reported.

The suspect wore a hoodie, which suggests he was trying to hide his identity.

The suspect also appears to stomp on the victim before walking away. The victim was transported by ambulance to the hospital with a laceration and bruises and was listed in stable condition.
