A New Jersey man who was arrested after being caught on camera screaming threats and racial slurs at his neighbor last summer is now facing new charges of bias intimidation and harassment.
Prosecutors allege 45-year-old Edward Cagney Mathews left a threatening handwritten note on a neighbor’s car in Mount Laurel and smeared poop on their vehicle.
The charges were filed after the FBI determined that Mathews wrote the handwritten note.
He now faces a total of 22 charges, including criminal mischief, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, drug possession with intent to distribute, and stalking.
