An Alabama man has been arrested and charged with attempted rape. The suspect had a collection of 400 pairs of women’s underwear and bras in his residence found by law enforcement during a search warrant.
John Uda, 27, is accused of breaking into a woman’s home and attempting to rape her. The incident happened on July 10th in Dothan. Dothan Police Lt. Scott Owens reportedly told a local news outlet that the victim had put up a fight and suffered minor injuries.
Officials determined that Uda attempted to rape the woman. After the incident occurred, police implemented a search warrant and discovered the 400 pairs of panties and bras.
The suspect also is accused of burglarizing the woman’s home and stealing a game console in a separate incident on July 1st.
Uda was accused of stealing women’s undergarments from the community laundry room in his apartment complex, according to law enforcement.
Reportedly, Uda faces charges of 50 counts of voyeurism, burglary, aggravated criminal surveillance, and attempted rape. He is being held in a jail facility on a $1 Million Bond.
