It appears that someone might have taken the law into their own hands after a New York man was found dead with the cryptic message “I touch little girls” scribbled on his chest.
The 80-year-old man was discovered unconscious inside of a hallway in a Staten Island apartment building on Monday. He was pronounced dead at the scene, though no cause of death has been released. In addition to the message on his chest, the words “I take dolls in my room for girls age 1-5” were sprawled across his stomach, and “I touch” was found on his right foot. He’d also sustained two black eyes and cuts to his forehead.
Of the man’s 24 previous arrests, none of them suggested that he sexually abused minors. Several of his arrests include a 1987 assault against a girlfriend and a 1996 arrest for drug possession.
His name was also nowhere to be found on the state’s online sex offender registry, so the text found on his corpse remains a mystery.
At this time, authorities are not releasing his identity.
