A Pennsylvania man killed his ex-girlfriend in front of her 11-year-old son on Friday before taking his own life.
According to the Associated Press, the incident occurred around 10 p.m. in Conemaugh Township after 38-year-old William Yarina rear-ended his ex, 37-year-old Amanda Boring of Johnstown.
Officials say the two then got out of their cars and got into an argument. That’s when Yarina turned the gun on Boring and then himself. Both were pronounced dead at the scene with gunshot wounds to the chest.
Several people called 911 after the incident, including Boring’s son, who was in the car and witnessed the incident. He was not injured.
According to Cambria County Coroner Jeff Lees, the former couple had ongoing issues, and this was a “domestic case,” the County’s third fatal domestic dispute this year.
