Ray Allen’s “catfish” cheating scandal has just gone from bad to worse after Bryant Coleman, the man who accused Allen of stalking him, came forward with claims that the two were in a romantic relationship.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It was recently reported that the former basketball superstar filed an emergency motion against Coleman’s stalking claims. In the motion, Allen said Coleman was the one that was stalking him and his family after pretending to be several different women in an attempt to pursue the baller. Allen said the two initially had an agreement that Coleman would keep all of their conversations private, but the accuser has since reneged on the deal.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Since then, Coleman has come forward with additional allegations against Allen. Not only did he claim the former baller was stalking him, which prompted him to get a restraining order against Allen, but he also says the two were gay lovers.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
According to TMZ, Coleman says Allen conversed with him and provided information, pictures, and videos, knowing that he was a man. He says the two have history.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“[Allen’s] account of our relationship is false,” Coleman told the publication. “Ray knows how I look, he knows how my voice sounds, he knows how I think, and most importantly, he knows my heart,” he said, referencing the baller’s claim that he had never met Coleman in person.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“However, because of confidentially considerations, I am not in a position to provide a more detailed response to Mr. Allen’s false and salacious claims. I will rely on the courts to protect me against Mr. Allen’s violent threats and false accusations.”
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
However, Allen and his lawyer say Coleman is flat out lying.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“Mr. Coleman’s statement would be funny if it wasn’t so crazy,” Allen’s attorney told the publication. “There has never been and never will be a relationship or friendship between Ray Allen and Mr. Coleman. They have never met and never have spoken. Ray obviously hasn’t threatened anyone. Any statement or interference otherwise is a complete fabrication. Ray wants nothing to do with Mr. Coleman, who obviously has some serious issues with understanding the difference between fact and fantasy.”
