Man Sentenced For Killing Venus and Serena Williams’ Sister Was Released and Reportedly Arrested Again For Parole Violation

In 2003, #YetundePrice, the elder half-sister of tennis superstars Venus and #SerenaWilliams, was gunned down in a drive-by shooting in Compton, California. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Three years later after two mistrials, the shooter, Robert Edward Maxfield, was sentenced to 15 years in prison for voluntary manslaughter.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

After more than a decade behind bars, Maxfield was paroled in March for good behavior. But now, it appears the convict was arrested again on Friday night and shipped back to the big house for violating parole. The nature of the violation remains unclear.

According to PEOPLE, officials were unable to confirm if Maxfield, who was arrested in Compton, was the same man who was recently released in Price’s case. The site added, the men in both cases share the same information, including age, name, and race.
