Two uniformed police officers were shot near Myrtle and Tompkins avenues in Brooklyn around 2:45pm Saturday afternoon. The 28 year old shooter, who was seen  carried out of the Myrtle-Willoughby Avenues subway station on a stretcher, seems to have chronicled the entire thing on his social media page.Â
The shooter’s name is Ismaaiyl Abdullah Brinsley aka Moses, but went by the name @dontrunup on Instagram. In several posts dating back over a year and a half, Moses can be seen across different parts of the country posting about, guns, drugs and of course police officers. He even downloaded an app called Waze to track where police officers were.Â
Leading up to the shooting, a woman accused Moses of shooting her niece in Baltimore and was desperately trying to find him, apparently she had no idea he had turned a gun to two officers, shooting them execution style, in what he believed to be revenge for Eric Garner. “I’m putting wings on pigs today. They take 1 of ours…lets take 2 of theirs” he posted before the shooting. It’s being said that he passed his phone over to a friend who would continue to post on his Instagram account hours after his death.Â
It’s being reported that Moses walked up to the officers sitting inside the patrol car and opened fire. He than ran into a nearby subway station, posted one final instagram, then shot himself.Â
