Man Spends $14K On Lifelike Collie Costume

A Japanese native took being a dog to a whole new level.

The man, who goes by the name Toco online, dished out $14,000 for a custom-made Collie costume and shocked bystanders when he stepped out in public for the first time.

His dream was to become a canine, and the purchase of the costume helped his dreams come true, the New York Post reported.

A video showing Toco playing in the yard, rolling around, and playing fetch was uploaded to his YouTube channel, which has over 32,000 subscribers. Another video showed his first walk in public since the transformation, which was shot last year.

The video has garnered nearly 2 million views and captured bystanders watching him nearby.

Toco, who has previously said he was both nervous and scared to go out in public, also wore a harness around his abdomen.

“Do you remember your dreams from when you are little? You want to be a hero or a wizard,” he wrote in the clip, describing his life-dog dog dream as seemingly “unrealistic.”

“I remember writing in my grade school graduation book that I wanted to be a dog and walk outside.”

Interesting.
