On Thursday, Marlin Joseph was sentenced to death by a 12-member jury for fatally shooting a woman and her daughter on December 28, 2017.
Kaladaa Crowell was shot several times, twice in the head, and her daughter Kyra Inglett was chased down by Joseph and shot five times, three times in the head. Prosecutors say that Joseph was upset about a situation that happened between his daughter and Inglett.
According to the Palm Beach Post, Circuit Judge Cheryl Caracuzzo told Joseph after he was sentenced, “Marlin Joseph, you have not only forfeited your right to live among us but under the law of the state of Florida, you have forfeited your right to live at all.”
