Manny Pacquiao Confirms Rematch with Floyd Mayweather
It’s official: Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather 2 has been confirmed for this year.
Pacquiao and RIZIN Fighting Federation head Nobuyiki Sakakibara announced the news during a New Year’s Eve event held at Japan’s Saitama Super Arena.
While apologizing for his inactivity in 2023, he confirmed that the “big fight” against Mayweather will happen in Japan in 2024.
So far, no more details have been released.
According to Bloody Elbow, the upcoming rematch between Pacquiao and Mayweather will probably be an exhibition, given both fighters have retired from professional boxing.
