Mariah Carey is officially in her mood and gearing up for her favorite time of year.
On Wednesday, the superstar shared a video on Instagram of herself in a giant ice cube being “thawed” out by helpers in Halloween masks. Once the ice melts, Carey emerges in her best Mrs. Clause attire, signaling the start of her annual moment. In the caption, Carey wrote, “It’s…… TIME!!!” Her twins, which she shares with Nick Cannon, 12-year-old Moroccan, and Monroe, joined their mom in her festive announcement.
The Grammy Award winner is staying true to her “All I Want For Christmas” tradition. The hit single was originally released ahead of Christmas in 1994. Since then, it has continuously charted each year during the holiday season. The record is heard annually in stores and on the radio during this time of year, becoming synonymous with all things winter.
In addition to her song being played virtually everywhere for the next few months, Carey is also embarking on her Merry Christmas One And All! Tour. The songstress will kick off her trek in Highland, California, on November 15th. She’ll be taking her talents to major cities such as Los Angeles, Chicago, and Denver. Additionally, Carey and her kiddos partnered with Children’s Place to design a line of holiday apparel, such as matching pajamas and dresses.
