Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon Divorce “Done Deal”

Despite hiding it very well in the media, Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey have been separated for months and according to lawyers, their divorce is a “done deal”. A few sources tell us that part of the marriage’s demise stemmed from infidelity……on Mariah’s part.

You may remember over the summer when we reported that there were rumors of  trouble in Nick and Mariah’s home and that Nick was tired of Mariah’s over-the-top ways at her age. May have been some truth to that. Sources close to the couple say the couple have been living in separate houses since May.

Sources are saying that two things may have caused a rift between the couple on Mariah’s end. One was when Nick Cannon went on the Big Boy’s Neighborhood morning radio show and named 5 celebrities he’s slept with and one of them was Kim Kardashian. Mariah wasn’t having it and lit into him INSTANTLY. You may also remember Nick came back later and said Mariah wasn’t worrying about Kim, well she was and she never got over it. Mariah is also rumored to be upset by Nick working so much. Sources say Mariah feels like Nick takes every offer & deal on the table which keeps him away from his family. Mariah says they don’t NEED the money so it’s unnecessary. For the record, Nick alone generated $75 million for the family since 2011. Mariah may say she doesn’t NEED the money, but I don’t see her being the type to take her lavish lifestyle down a notch either.

As far as Nick’s side, he says Mariah is surrounded by way too many yes men and always getting her way, making it impossible to talk to her. There were also rumors that he’s had enough of her diva antics and wants her to tone it down.

It’s kind of sad because I actually liked these two together. Nick is gonna have a tough time removing that big ‘Mariah’ tattoo from his back but something tells me (even though people like to call him corny) he will be just fine and moving on in no time.
