Every year during the holiday season, Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You” becomes the go-to anthem of the season. This year, the earworm broke Spotify’s single-day streams record.

Mariah thanked her fans in a tweet on Christmas day while quoting a tweet from Chart Data announcing that the song had broken the record of single-day streams with over 17 million streams.
