Mariah Carey’s Atlanta home was reportedly burglarized last month while she was vacationing in Italy and the Hamptons.
Police have confirmed the break-in but say that since “this is still an open investigation, the information may be limited.”
The pictures of Carey and her boyfriend Bryan Tanaka, along with twins Monroe and Morrocan, were all over the internet, alerting thieves that the house would be empty.
On July 25, the singer posted to her Instagram: “Out East for the week, soaking it all in,” to promote real estate company Nestseekers for helping her find a Hamptons rental.
According to reports, the burglary was reported to the police on July 27.
