After losing two of its biggest stars, “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” has announced the new cast ahead of the new season.
Season 14 is sure to bring loads of fresh storylines with the introduction of series newbie Sanya Richards-Ross. The 36-year-old is a four-time Olympic Gold medalist and is no stranger to reality television. In 2013, she starred in her own WE tv reality series “Glam and Gold,” which documented her family and track career. The show was only picked up for one season.
Richards-Ross will join returning Housewives Kandi Burruss, Shereé Whitfield, Kenya Moore, Drew Sidora, and Marlo Hampton, who was promoted from longtime friend-of-the-show to full-time Housewife.
The new cast was announced weeks after Porsha Williams and Cynthia Bailey announced that they were leaving the series. Williams will star in her new spin-off “Porsha’s Family Matters,” which premieres on November 28th. Bailey will proceed with her entrepreneurial endeavors while continuing to enjoy newlywed life with her husband, Mike Hill.
