Martin Lawrence Clarifies That He Is “All Good” Following Rumors Claimed He Suffered A Stroke: “That’s Totally Not True”

Marty Mar is making it clear that he is healthy!

As the fourth installment of the Bad Boys franchise has been released in theaters, the movie’s main characters, Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, have been on a press run to promote the film. Many photos and videos have circulated showing the duo with all smiles but they have also sparked some conversation about Lawrence’s health. Rumors began to make its way throughout social media that the 59-year-old actor had suffered a stroke.

However, Lawrence recently sat down with “Sway In The Morning” where he made some clarifications about his health.

“There’s a rumor out there that I had a stroke. Man, and that’s totally not true,” Lawrence said. “So, I just wanna clear that up. But I thank everybody for the concern and the love and just thank you. But Marty’s all good.”

Smith then chimed in and mentioned the rumor of his co-star being a clone.

“There’s also a rumor, and I wasn’t gonna bring it up, that you’re a clone,” Smith added. “That was the one that I heard. That you’ve been cloned.”

This is not the first time Lawrence has addressed his health and debunk the rumors. Last week, Lawrence spoke with Hot 97’s “Ebro In The Morning” and said he is in “God’s Hands.”

“I’m fine, I’m in God’s hands,” he said at the time. “I’m blessed. You know, I’m glad to be waking up every day. I’m all good. No need for people to be concerned.”

Nevertheless, Smith and Lawrence’s new Bad Boys film is a must-see! After nearly three decades, the franchise have raked in millions of dollars throughout the years. The initial film grossed $141 million with a $19 million budget and blossomed into three sequels. The series kicked off in 1995 with Smith and Lawrence taking on the role as police officers and fighting crime for the Miami Police Department.
