Mary J. Blige launches her own BET show and viewers can expect to see some of their favorite celebrities chatting it up with the R&B legend.
The network recently released the trailer for Mary’s upcoming talk show called ‘The Wine Down.’ The 30-second video clip showed Mary having candid, in-depth conversations with 50 Cent, Taraji P. Henson and Yung Miami.
“You all know me as Mary, the entertainer, but I can’t wait for you to get to know Mary, the friend,” she says. “I always wanted to do a show that’s about me hanging out with people who I love, respect and admire.”
The show features “raw and unfiltered” conversations between Mary and special guests about careers, relationships and everything in between.
‘The Wine Down’ will also be apart of the non-scripted deal between BET and Mary’s Blue Butterfly media company.
“BET has been one of my biggest supporters throughout my career,” she said said. “Being able to now create together, for them to be so supportive of my vision for the type of content I will create, is something I am grateful and excited for. We already have multiple projects in the works and there is much more to come.”
The upcoming show will premiere on BET on March 1 at 10:00 p.m. EST.
