A teenager has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting two women inside an LA Fitness locker room in North Bethesda, Maryland.
There may be more victims in a case that involves an 18-year-old named Samba Dieng, who’s now in custody for allegedly sexually assaulting two women inside a Maryland LA Fitness gym. The incident happened on October 21. Both women were members of the gym who had been working out.
One of the victims was in the shower when she was sexually assaulted. Another woman heard a woman scream and, at some point, went back into the locker room, and that’s when Dieng allegedly grabbed her and sexually assaulted her, Fox 5 DC reports.
LA Fitness staff members are working with authorities on an investigation into the assaults. Police arrested Dieng at his Silver Spring home on Wednesday, Fox 5 DC reports.
Detectives say there could be many victims as Dieng visited several other LA Fitness gyms in Montgomery County and Prince George’s County. He’s now been charged with second-degree rape, fourth-degree sex offense, and two counts of second-degree assault.
