After a deadly tornado ripped through New Orleans, Master P has put together a team to help victims pick up the pieces.
According to TMZ, the rapper’s “Team Hope” has aided over 100 families in NOLA’s 9th Ward by providing necessities and assisting the elderly with damage claim paperwork.
As part of the recovery efforts, the crew has already started cleaning up the damage and salvaging what they can from the wrecked homes so that the rebuilding process can begin.
Several people were injured by the tornado late Tuesday night, and at least one person died. It flipped cars and tore roofs off houses as it passed through the city.
While the city and its residents aren’t strangers to natural disasters, Master P says, “New Orleans is stronger together … it’s time to clean up and rebuild. We have done this so many times we have to be thankful for life.”
