Hercy Miller, the 24-year-old son of rapper Master P, and two of his Southern Utah University (SUU) basketball teammates are facing theft charges after allegedly stealing two refrigerators from the university’s campus. Miller, along with teammates Brock Felder, 20, and Peter Dadson Jr., 25, was arrested on November 27 and charged with one count of theft, according to multiple reports.

Court documents reveal the three athletes are accused of taking two refrigerators, valued at $1,500 each, from the loading dock of the SUU campus bookstore on November 11. Security footage reportedly shows the players loading the appliances into their vehicles.

Police later found the refrigerators in the apartments of Miller and Dadson Jr. and inside Felder’s garage, according to arrest affidavits.

The players told police they believed the refrigerators were being discarded. Dadson Jr. stated in the affidavit that the appliances had been on the loading dock for “almost a month,” leading him to assume it was acceptable to take them. Felder admitted to helping load the refrigerators but claimed one of the other suspects initiated the act.

All three men were booked into the Iron County Jail and released the following day, November 28.

Despite the allegations, Miller, Dadson Jr., and Felder all played in SUU’s 90-55 victory over Park University Gilbert on December 3. Miller, a 6-foot-3 guard in his first season with the SUU Thunderbirds after transferring from Louisville, is averaging 8.8 points per game.

Head coach Rob Jeter addressed the incident in a statement to TMZ Sports, describing it as a “misunderstanding” and assuring that the university is working to resolve the matter quickly.

A representative for Southern Utah University did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
