You may recall that Mathew Knowles has at least two children outside of his new marriage with Gena Charmaine Avery and former marriage with Beyonce & Solange’s mother Tina. Alexsandra Wright, the mother of Mathew’s 5 year old son Nixon, has claimed in the past that he does not pay his court ordered $2.5k/month child support, leaving her to live on government assistance.
Now Alexsandra claims that she’s living in a trailer park and Mathew Knowles owes over $40,000 in back child support.
Alexsandra and Mathew had an 18 month affair while Mathew as still married to Tina. “He was my best friend at the time,” she tells Crime Watch Daily. “And for those two years, we were together all of the time. The ‘mistress’ thing gets me. He didn’t go home.” During the interview she talks about how the two met in Seattle while discussing a business deal for Beyonce and that Mathew would continue to call her a hundred times a day and follow her from city to city. She said that everything was great until she got pregnant. Alexsandra also claims that Mathew demanded she take his name off the birth certificate.
“I made plenty of money in my career, saved lots of money. I had to spend every last dime on court fees,” says Alexsandra who was once held a job as a marketing manager before spending the last 5 years in court with Knowles fighting over paternity, court fees, and child support payments. According to Alexsandra, contempt charges against Mathew are now in the works. “If he doesn’t make it right by [October] 30th, this could potentially be jail time.”
The entire case is quite interesting actually. As explained in the video below, Mathew was originally ordered to pay Alexsandra over $12k per month while he was still Beyonce’s manager. After Beyonce fired him, the two went back to court last year and the payments were reduced to just under $2.5k a month, which Alexsandra says he hasn’t been paying. According to Mathew, he doesn’t think he owes her anything since he’s allegedly overpaid her 100k.
