Neither Meagan Good nor her ex-husband DeVon Franklin will have to pay spousal support as their divorce draws to a close.
Per court documents, Franklin was granted permission by Good to handle paperwork regarding their divorce on his own. The two had an agreement to terminate their right to seek spousal support and divide their property and assets fairly. Since Good did not appear in their most recent court hearing, Franklin asked a judge to grant him a default judgment.
The former couple did not share any children today, so taking spousal support off of the table certainly creates a smooth separation for the two. Neither of them signed a prenup or postnup agreement. While Good nor Franklin revealed the cause of their marital breakdown, Franklin filed for divorce in December 2021, citing irreconcilable differences after four months of separation. He quickly kicked off the process by handing over his financial information to Meagan Good in the days following.
This latest development in their divorce proceedings comes as social media rumors have already begun to fly regarding the “Think Like A Man” star. Many suspect that the 40-year-old actress is dating battle rapper Dizaster after a photo circulated of the two. Those rumors have not been substantiated.
