During a recent sit-down with Cam Newton for his “Funk Friday” show, Good was asked the type of characters she would not portray under any circumstances. The former child star revealed that any job that could comprise her faith is a huge no-no.
“Anything that I feel like is displeasing to God and anything that I just, just is not in my heart or my spirit,” Good explained.
The “Think Like a Man” actress also shared that in her past, there have been productions that requested she show an unnecessary amount of skin. This is something that Good says she cannot support.
“There’s been things in the past where there was a certain amount of nudity and I was like, ‘But this doesn’t warrant this.’ For me, I feel like what you want me to do here, the journey there doesn’t warrant this moment. And so I’m not going to do it,” the 43-year-old shared. “And it broke my heart to say no because I was like, ‘Can we just not do this? Because I really love the rest of this journey.’ But to me it was gratuitous and I don’t want it that bad.”
Good is currently prompting the final season of Amazon Prime’s “Harlem.” She is also preparing for her second marriage to actor Jonathan Majors, whom she got engaged to in November 2024.
