Meagan Good is sticking beside her man, Jonathan Majors, supporting him during Tuesday’s court appearance.
The “Think Like a Man” actress was seen hand-in-hand with her disgraced Hollywood boo, who has undergone a swift fall from grace following his domestic violence allegations. Meagan smiled for the cameras as she entered the courtroom with her man, who faces a misdemeanor assault charge. Inside the building, Good was seen massaging Majors’ shoulder. A source told Entertainment Tonight that Good was “very affectionate and protective.”
The brief hearing did establish a trial date of August 3rd. Majors is being accused of violently attacking ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari in March. According to her, the “Creed III” actor hit her in the head, choked her, and twisted her arm before forcing her into a vehicle in New York City. She has since been granted a restraining order against the 33-year-old. Shortly after the incident hit the media, Majors’ lawyers released text messages between him and Jabbari, which backfired against the defense. In the messages, the two seemingly confirm that an assault took place, with Jabbari writing that she would tell authorities the altercation was her fault since she’d tried to take his cell phone.
As for whether or not Miss Good is worried by any of this, it appears she is not. The 41-year-old divorcee has not officially confirmed her relationship with Majors but has been photographed with him on several occasions. The couple were initially linked in May, though neither has spoken about their new romance.
Majors attorneys are hoping the charges against him are dropped. He continues to maintain his innocence.
