Meek Mill Tells Parents to Block DJ Akademiks From Kids’ Phone Over Inappropriate Live Stream Involving Minor

Meek Mill is calling out DJ Akademiks after Akademiks was accused of inappropriate behavior with a 15-year-old boy during a livestream.

Akademiks and WrittenByRay, a friend of Tory Lanez, were heard in several clips asking the teenager questions that many found concerning, including joking about sending strippers to his house and making other comments that were widely criticized.

Meek Mill responded strongly on social media, urging parents to step in: “If you’re a parent, go get your kids’ phone and block this man. He’s grooming children with a very large platform that ‘kids’ like… also attempts to ruin black families and black success daily. VILLAN IN THE VILLAGE.”

As the controversy gained attention online, Akademiks issued an apology, taking responsibility for his actions.

“I’ll just take the responsibility,” he said. “I should do better and will do better, and I think that’s the best way to do it.”
