Meek Mill has been speaking out against Akademiks for quite some time and now, the rapper is lending his voice after the streamer’s suspension from Twitch.
Days following Akademik’s inappropriate sexual comments toward a 15-year-old streamer, the platform suspended him. While Twitch has not offered an explanation for the ban, some users speculate it may be related to Ak calling Adin Ross during his stream. Ross was permanently banned from the platform in 2023.
It’s unclear if the suspension is permanent or a brief timeout following the incident. When Akademiks’ comments first surfaced, Meek was just one of thousands calling for him to face consequences.
“If [you’re] a parent go get ya kids phone and block this man, he’s grooming children with a very large platform that ‘kids’ like,” Meek tweeted. “Also attempts to ruin black families and black success daily, ‘VILLAN IN THE VILLAGE.’”

On Tuesday, when news circulated that Ak’s Twitch was removed, the “Dreams & Nightmares,” star warned that the media personality would find a new app to draw his audience in.
“He gone be drinking tonight screaming at kids from some other portal lol these guys lives be terrible ‘NEVER FOLLOW THE HEATHENS,’” he wrote.

Meek and Ak’s longstanding feud has lingered for years. Ak has been critical of Meek, even accusing him of being involved in Diddy’s illicit doings. Meanwhile, Meek has slammed Akademiks for being a culture vulture of sorts.
