Meet The Cops Involved In The Alton Sterling Shooting – blogged by: @niksofly

The faces you see appearing on memes aren’t the cops that were involved in the fatal shooting of #AltonSterling.

Meet #HowieLake and BlaneSalamoni, the two officers responsible for the death of #AltonSterling.  Lake ,29, is a three -year veteran officer. He was suspended in 2014 for the shooting of another black man, Kevin Knight. On the run, Knight was shot several times by a group of officers. Local reports suggested that Knight exchanged gunfire with the police. The charges were dismissed. Blane Salmoni, 28, is a four year veteran that has won a “life saving” award from the police department. Following in his parents’ footsteps, Salamoni became an officer. His father was said to have possibly been the next police chief. Both officers are on administrative leave while Alton’s execution is being investigated.

If the actions on video aren’t enough to boil your blood, reading his stepfather’s “blacks have an agenda” rant will enrage you. Via NY Daily News : “Salamoni’s father-in-law, James Durdin, told the New York Daily News that he blamed black people for ‘making an agenda’ out of Sterling’s shooting.

Durdin said Sterling ‘drew a gun’ on the cops – a claim that is not backed up by video evidence.

‘It burns my you-know-what when it’s – usually the black people – that try to make an agenda out of this,’ he said.

‘What I’d like to see is them with no police at all, so they can know what it’s like not to have them… The majority of (cops) would never be abusive. Does anyone give a you-know-what about that? We’ll have social chaos (without cops).

‘I’m totally against these people,’ Durdin added, speaking about protesters who have called for justice for Sterling. ‘They take advantage of every situation to promote their agendas.'”

I guess not wanting to die for simply existing is an agenda. Where are #AllLivesMatter, NRA lobbyists and those that believe AmeriKKKa doesn’t have a racial problem?
