On Wednesday, Tom Brady showed up in federal court to try and appeal his four game suspension handed down by the NFL as a result of the whole Deflategate scandal. Brady and the NFLPA battled Roger Goodell and the NFL in an attempt to reach a settlement on the case. During the hearing, Judge Richard Berman questioned the NFL on whether Ted Wells was really an independent investigator and brought up the lack of solid evidence against Brady. On the opposing side, Berman questioned why Brady would destroy his cell phone and how it was possible that as a quarterback, he couldn’t tell the balls were under-inflated during the AFC Championship game. But the real highlight of the day was when courtroom sketch artist Jane Rosenberg’s drawing of Brady surfaced.
During the hearing, Rosenberg was responsible for drawing her best interpretation of the Superbowl-winning quarterback. While many women find Tom Brady to be attractive, Rosenberg clearly does not. At least not according to her artwork. “I don’t try to be different, I try to draw what I see,” she told the Boston Herald. “So that’s what I did.” Alright then.
And of course, once the Internet got ahold of the picture, all hell broke loose. Twitter-ers and IG-ers put their best photoshop skills to work immediately and created some great Brady memes. Here are some of the best ones from the day.
Who comes up with this stuff?! I think the E.T. one is my personal fave. What about you?
