The war between Megan Thee Stallion and Carl Crawford seems to be a never-ending battle that has reached new heights.
On Monday, the 1501 Certified Entertainment lead man and The Hottie exchanged words on social media after she slammed the former baseball player for dragging out their legal case. In newly found court documents, Crawford claimed that Meg’s last project, “Something For The Hotties,” was not a real album that counts towards her contract obligations. Crawford argues that the project was a mixtape instead.Â
The “Savage” performer slammed Crawford for feeling entitled to her hard-earned money on Twitter.
“Also, how can I owe you any of MY money outside of music when your team can’t even provide ACTUAL statements of what i owe,” she wrote on Twitter. She also accused the label of initially classifying the release as an album before abruptly changing its tune.
Also, how can I owe you any of MY money out side of music when your team can’t even provide ACTUAL statements of what i owe… you also haven’t PAID ME since 2019. Your team signed off on SOMETHING FOR THE HOTTIES to count as an ALBUM now it’s not? Jokes

Crawford fired back, telling his artist to “Stop playing the victim.” He even addressed SFTH directly, calling it a “bullsh** ass mix tape.” In a Story post, he accused Meg of being an alcoholic and sleeping with many of her peers in the industry. This allegations comes after she claimed he abused pills.

In February, Meg sued Crawford and 1501, claiming that “Something For The Hotties” fulfilled her contract. Crawford countersued and now wants the judge to declare that the project does not qualify as an album. If that happens, Meg would owe 1501 two more albums. In addition, the label is requesting a full overview of what the Grammy-award-winning star brought in from collaborations, sponsorships, and any other endorsements or partnership aside from music.
