Megan Thee Stallion is turning up the pressure in her defamation lawsuit against blogger Milagro Gramz.
She’s asking a federal judge to hit Gramz with legal penalties and allow investigators to pull data straight from her personal accounts, including Instagram, WhatsApp, iMessage, and Discord. According to reports, Megan’s legal team says Gramz missed a court-mandated deadline back in May. She was supposed to hand over digital records tied to the case, including messages and metadata linked to damaging claims she made online. Megan’s attorneys say Gramz hasn’t turned in a single file.
Now the rapper is asking the court to take action. Her lawyers are demanding full access to Gramz’s accounts through forensic tech experts at FTI Consulting. They’re also asking the court to shut down any objections Gramz might try to raise. If the request is denied, Megan’s team wants the jury instructed to assume that whatever content is missing would have worked against Gramz in court.
This lawsuit began in 2023 after Megan accused Gramz of launching an online smear campaign. The blogger allegedly accused Megan of lying on the stand and sharing fake, explicit content. A judge already ruled that those posts weren’t protected speech and banned Gramz from making any public statements about the case. But that’s not all, Megan’s lawyers claim Gramz was working as a “paid surrogate” for Tory Lanez and spreading conspiracies meant to damage Megan’s credibility after the 2020 shooting.
Court records include screenshots of Zelle payments from Lanez’s relatives to Gramz and audio from jailhouse calls where Lanez allegedly talked about her role in the drama.
Gramz has new representation after her previous lawyers dropped out over unpaid fees. Attorneys Jeremy McLymont and Ronda Dixon are now handling her case.
The court’s upcoming decision on whether Megan’s team can retrieve data from Gramz’s accounts could reshape what happens next in one of the most talked-about legal fights in music, currently.
