Megan Thee Stallion is not letting any hateful words get her down.
The “Savage” rapper took the stage over the weekend at the Outside Lands Music Festival in San Francisco. She may be taking a break from releasing new music but not from performing, and during the set, Meg made her first public comments since the Tory Lanez sentencing. The 28-year-old let it be known that she has overcome the many trolls and negativity that plagued her during and after the trial, which saw her former friend sentenced for shooting her back in 2020.

“I really appreciate y’all. So today, I just wanna say, f*** all my haters. None of that sh** you was doing or saying broke me. None of that shit y’all was doing or saying to the hotties broke them,” the college grad told the cheering crowd.
Until now, the Grammy award winner has kept quiet since the August 8th sentence was handed down. However, she has endured a wave of support and intense criticism from those who feel she has not been truthful about the shooting. Much of the trolling led to the superstar taking a social media hiatus. Lanez, on the other hand, remains vocal about his innocence and will appeal his 10-year conviction for charges including assault with a semiautomatic firearm, having a concealed and loaded gun in a vehicle, and discharge of a firearm with gross negligence.
“I remain on the stance that I refuse to apologize for something that I did not do,” he shared via an Instagram post after learning of his prison term. Meanwhile, Meg has shared that she is having a “Healing Girl” Summer.,” and rightfully so.
