Megan Thee Stallion just scored a major legal win against her label, 1501 Certified Entertainment, after they tried to stop her from releasing new music.
TMZ obtained legal documents where Meg claims 1501 and CEO Carl Crawford tried to keep her remix to BTS’ “Butter” from dropping on Friday. The Houston Hottie feels the track will help expand her international fanbase.
She claims the label doesn’t feel the song is the right fit for her or her career. She believes it is just an excuse to keep the remix from dropping on time.
This is not the first time Meg has taken 1501 to court for trying to stop her from releasing music. The last time she went to court, she got an all-clear to release music from the judge. If 1501 is trying to keep her from releasing music, it will violate that order.
