Megan Thee Stallion isn’t here for the lies.
The Houston Hottie is clearing the air after fans and blogs started speculating that she was banned from the Met Gala for breaking the no-phone rule.
The rumors started circulating after Megan posted behind-the-scenes videos from inside the 2025 Met Gala, hanging out with WNBA star Angel Reese and rapper Doechii.
Since the event has a strict no-phones policy, people assumed she broke the rules and got blacklisted.
But according to Megan, that’s simply not true.
“No. We’re gonna dead these rumors right now, okay? People are like, ‘Oh my God, Megan, you got banned from the Met Gala.’ No, I didn’t, babe. Like that’s not true,” she told PEOPLE.
“Y’all made that up and ran with it. They love making [stuff] up. Anna [Wintour] loves me, babe. That’s why my phone was out.”
It’s clear that Megan’s still in Anna Wintour’s good graces and is probably still on the invite list for next year.
