Drama starters tried to claim that Megan Thee Stallion abused her ex-boyfriend.
The Houston Hottie has had to shut down haters lately, and now she’s back on social media again, letting everyone know that she was never abused her ex-boyfriend. This all comes after a man named Karim York made an Instagram post detailing the alleged event. “I GOT MY A$$ BEAT that night, but I’m being pictured as an abuser on the Internet,” read the man’s post. I” don’t know how many times that woman put her hands on me with multiple witnesses there. I’ve had a gun pointed at me with the intentions of being shot,” the post read, as he added at the end, “P.S. Megan and I are still friends.” The story ended up on Heavy.com, and a source claimed that the man was Megan’s ex, accusing her of physical abuse.
Megan previously addressed her 2015 mugshot from when she was arrested for “Assault; Bodily Injury Against A Family Member” during a dysfunctional relationship with a man who cheated on her and ended up impregnating another woman, Bossip reports. Although Meg named Karim as the boyfriend that was involved in the incident, she never said that she abused him. In fact, on Monday, Meg went on Instagram live and called out the woman who made the false-story post.
“Remember when my mugshot popped up? And I told y’all that my ex-boyfriend beat my a**? So, this lady made this ol’ fake a** story, and you know I had to call the n*** to get the muthaf*** facts.” Meg called up Karim, who confirmed that the rumors were not true. “Somebody sent me a screenshot saying that you said I was on Xans the day I went to jail, and you said I beat yo a**, and I’m always beating yo a**,” said Megan to Karim. “First of all, I am not talking about you,” responded the man.
Meg then went on Twitter, and rhetorically asked people why they like to spread rumors. “Why y’all like to lie when I got all facts all the time,” Meg wrote. Like, Meg said, stop being “obsessed,” y’all.
