Megan Thee Stallion Shuts Down Speculations That Her “Body” Performance Intro Was a Response to DaBaby’s Hookup Allegations

Whether fans think it or not, Megan Thee Stallion shuts down all the negativity.

After internet users began speculating that the intro to her BODY performance at the iHeart Radio festival was hinting at DaBaby’s hookup allegations, Megan clarified that she typically starts her performance that way – so why is it news all of a sudden?

She tweeted, “I feel like a lot of these blogs don’t post me until it’s something they know majority of their audience can dog pile on me for associated with some kind of negative narrative…bc why is the way I start my performance to BODY damn near every show news NOW….”

Minutes after tweeting about media coverage, she said there is positive content out there, like her new mental health website, Bad Bitches Have Bad Days Too, offering resources for free therapy, suicide assistance, and substance abuse.

In the performance clip Meg says, “So look, I don’t know about y’all, but I love my body,” she said to a screaming crowd. “I do what I want to with my body when I want to with my body, with who I want to with my body. ‘Cause it’s who? My body.”

Last week, DaBaby made headlines after outting his alleged sexual history with the Houston native in his new song, “Boogeyman.”

On his unexpected album, Baby on Baby 2, the rapper alleged he had entanglements with Megan the day before Tory Lanez shot her in the foot. He also referred to her boyfriend, Pardison Fontaine, as a “pretty boy” who’s a “coward.”

He rapped at the beginning of the song.

You play with me, that shit was childish / The day before she says that Tory Lanez shot her, I was f*cking on Megan Thee Stallion / Waited to say this shit on my next album / Hit it the day before too / But I kept it playa, I ain’t say nothing ’bout it

The back and forth with her boyfriend on Twitter was also in the song.

Had her pretty boy boyfriend tweeting me, ready to die ’bout the b*tch like a coward
