Oprah Winfrey has reportedly landed an interview with Meghan Markle’s mother in the wake of the highly anticipated royal union between Markle and Prince Harry. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
According to Daily Mail, Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland, 61, will sit down with Winfrey to disclose the details of her daughter’s racist abuse amid her relationship with the Prince. In fact, Ragland was spotted leaving Winfrey’s multi-million dollar California home last week, with sources claiming the six-hour meeting consisted of talks of their tell-all interview.

“Oprah and Doria spent a long time chatting and they got on really well. The most important and significant issue they spoke about was race and how badly some people had reacted to Meghan and Harry,” the source said. “’What happened to Meghan and Harry was disgusting and they and all of their families were horrified. It’s an issue close to both Doria and Oprah, who have both suffered racism.”

Although the two discussed the details of their forthcoming interview, the Daily Mail reports that it will need to be approved by Markle, Harry and Buckingham Palace before it is recorded.
