Metro Boomin’s sister is calling him out over how he handled the nasty remarks made towards their mother by rapper Soulja Boy.
His sister, Leah, has been taking to social media in recent days to call out the rap producer. She points out that Metro had a strong reaction to Drake rapping, “Metro shut your h** a** up and make some drums” on his “Push Ups” diss track. Metro responded by dropping the “BBL Drizzy” beat, which he allowed fans to freestyle over in a massive effort to fire back at the Toronto star. However, weeks later, Soulja Boy went on a Twitter rant, accusing Metro of sacrificing his mother, Leslie Wayne, who was murdered in June 2022 by her spouse, who then killed himself. He even poked fun at Metro’s loss by wishing him a Happy Mother’s Day. Metro remained silent on the matter during and after Soulja issued an apology. According to Leah, Metro did not keep that same energy for the “Crank Dat” rapper.
“This n***a Soulja Boy say he sacrificed our mama and what this b***h say? Not a muthaf**kin’ thing. This n***a went quiet. This n***a didn’t say nothing,” she said into the camera.
During the melee, 21 Savage spoke up and even sent an ominous threat to the rapper, firmly stating, “You gone sh** on yourself when I see you, boy.” The drama kicked off when old tweets surfaced of Metro seemingly taking a dig at Soulja, which led to the public meltdown. Metro took the high road through it all, which is something Leah believes her brother should have handled.
“So that’s something you allowing people to think about you? But you get out your body when a n***a call you a ‘h**’ and tell you to make some drums? That sh** bothers you? But when a n***a speaking on your mama, your b***h a** don’t say nothing?”
Metro has not responded publicly to his sister’s comments.
