Cops in Miami Beach believe the two men found dead in the former mansion of late designer Gianni Versace died by suicide.
According to CNN, cops responded to calls from a housekeeper at The Villa Casa Casuarina, who found the bodies.
A spokesperson for the Miami Beach Police said Thursday morning that investigators believe the two men died by suicide, days before the 24th anniversary of Versace’s death on the steps of the famed estate.
“At this time, the scene is contained to the hotel room and detectives have launched a death investigation,” police said on Wednesday.
The Miami-Dade Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the ultimate cause of death, Ernesto Rodriguez, Miami Beach police spokesperson said.
