Tyreek Hill, a wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins, is being investigated for an alleged assault over the weekend.
According to CBS News Miami, the incident took place on Sunday near the Haulover Beach Marina after Hill got into an argument with another individual.
Police did not reveal details about the alleged assault, but local news reported that Hill was accused of putting his hands on an employee of a charter company, according to TMZ.
Detectives from Miami-Dade police spoke with the individual Hill reportedly struck on Monday, but no charges have been filed.
A Dolphins spokesperson said, “We are aware of the situation and have been in contact with Tyreek, his representatives, and the NFL. We will reserve further comment at this time.”
Previously, the 29-year-old wide receiver was accused of assault when he admitted to punching and choking his then-pregnant girlfriend when he was still in college. He was also the subject of child abuse allegations in 2019.
