Attorney Michael Avenatti, who became famous for representing Stormy Daniels in her legal case with Donald Trump, has been arrested for felony domestic violence against his estranged wife.
According to TMZ, Avenatti was arrested after his estranged wife filed a felony domestic violence report. Her face was reportedly “swollen and bruised.” The confrontation happened at an exclusive apartment complex in the Century City area of L.A., where witnesses say a woman ran out of the apartment building and paced the sidewalk on her cellphone with sunglasses covering her eyes. She was screaming on the phone, “I can’t believe you did this to me.”
Sources say security brought her inside the building, and a few moments later, Michael showed up, running into the building, chasing after her. He repeatedly screamed, “She hit me first. This is bulls***, this is f***ing bulls***.”
The confrontation is suspected to be a result of Avenatti kicking his wife out of their home. We’re told she went back to the apartment to get her things and called the police to stand by in case things went left.
The couple married in 2011, but he filed for divorce in 2017.
