Michael Jace Murder Trial Delayed

Back in May 2014, ‘The Shield’ actor Michael Jace was arrested for shooting and killing his wife in their South LA home while their young children were present. Jace confessed to the shooting during a 911 call. 

The trial had been scheduled to begin Monday. but nearly two years after the murder, Michael Jace’s lawyers say they still need time to investigate. For unknown reasons, Jace’s attorneys have been seeking access to his deceased wife’s cellphone. There have been a few details that have been revealed since the death of April Jace, Michael’s wife. Apparently his lawyers want to explore the possibility that Jace was reacting to learning that his wife was having an affair.  They are hoping that the contents of April’s cellphone will reveal more information into Michael’s motive.

Could this mean there will be no plea deal and Michael Jace is looking to fight this?
