Unreleased demos will be part of the 40th Anniversary Edition of Michael Jackson’s Thriller album.
Come November, it will be 40 years since Michael Jackson released his album Thriller, which made its debut on November 30, 1982. According to the Guinness World Records, the hit album went on sell at least 66 million copies globally. The album, which Quincy Jones produced, is still considered to be the most popular of all time.
Some of Mike’s hit songs on the album include “Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’,” “Thriller,” “Human Nature,” “Beat It” and several other hits.
As part of its re-release, the special edition will be a two-disc album. Hypebeast reports one disc will be made up of the album’s original tracks, and the other will have “Thriller-era bonus material including previously unreleased demos.”
There aren’t many details yet, but Jackson’s official website says the trackless will be revealed very soon, Hypebeast reports. The album will also reportedly be available in Target and Walmart.
