As ‘The Last Dance’ docuseries chronicling #MichaelJordan’s time on the #ChicagoBulls airs weekly, more stories about the NBA legend are revealed as days go by.
In a recent interview with the ‘Tolbert, Kruger & Brooks podcast,’ Chicago Bulls reporter Sam Smith revealed a shockingly disturbing story.
According to Smith, Jordan would block teammate #HoraceGrant from eating if he had a bad game.
“Players would come to me over the years and said, ‘You know what he did? He took Horace’s food away on the plane because Horace had a bad game,’” Smith revealed. “He told the stewardesses, ‘Don’t feed him, he doesn’t deserve to eat!’”
While it’s never okay to take away someone’s human rights, especially with something as important as eating, it seems as though Jordan and Grant may have had other issues that caused Jordan to be harder on him.
The documentary has touched on a Jordan and Grant having a rocky relationship.
In the documentary, Jordan accuses Grant of leaking stories to the media back in the 1990s to tarnish his image.
“Not one thing I divulged to Sam Smith,” Grand recalled in the documentary denying Jordan’s allegations.
