Jeffrey Jordan, the 32-year-old son of NBA legend Michael Jordan, was accused of assaulting staff at an Arizona hospital.
Jordan was there seeking treatment for injuries he sustained from a slip and fall at the bar Casa Amigos, located in Scottsdale, TMZ reported.
Evidently, he fell and his head before coming combative with security, who tried to escort him out of the bar so that he could seek medical attention.
Scottsdale Police officers were in the area on another unrelated matter and were summoned to help out. After talking to bar staff, they learned that Jordan needed medical attention and that the incident wasn’t criminal.
He was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital, and that’s where things went left. Jordan is accused of assaulting hospital staff. The hospital took a report of the assault.
Sources defended Jordan by saying he was confused and disoriented from the fall.
Jordan was booked Saturday for one count of aggravated assault of a healthcare professional. He has since been released.
