New York City’s chief medical examiner’s office confirmed Friday that Michael K. Williams died of an overdose of fentanyl, p-fluorofentanyl, heroin and cocaine. His death was ruled accidental.
The five-time Emmy-nominated actor of “The Wire”, “Lovecraft Country”, “12 Years a Slave” and other starring roles, was found dead in his New York City apartment on September 6.
He was 54.
