Michael Strahan is fighting for primary custody of his twin daughters with his ex-wife Jean Muggli Strahan, claiming their daughters Sophia and Isabella are being physically and emotionally abused by their mother.
According to TMZ, the former NFL star and host of “Good Morning America” has filed a petition claiming that Jean is a bad parent and has engaged in a “pattern of abusive conduct towards the children for years.” He also claims he’s got proof of the physical and emotional abuse that he plans to detail in sealed docs.
Strahan currently has visitation rights, but he wants the twins to move in with him in NYC, and he is asking the court to hold his ex in criminal and civil contempt for her alleged actions. The girls currently live in North Carolina with Jean.
