Beyoncé, the celebrity of all celebrities, has once again left her mark on the music industry with her latest album, “Cowboy Carter.” The release has not only shattered records but has also captured the admiration of one of America’s most influential figures, former First Lady Michelle Obama.

In a recent statement, Michelle Obama expressed her awe at Beyoncé’s ability to redefine music genres and transform culture. “Beyoncé, you are a record-breaker and history-maker,” she expressed. “With Cowboy Carter, you have changed the game once again by helping redefine a music genre and transform our culture. I am so proud of you!”

But “Cowboy Carter” isn’t just about music; it celebrates resilience and empowerment. Michelle Obama highlighted the album’s message, emphasizing that we can still dance, sing, and be unapologetically ourselves despite our challenges. “This album reminds us that we ALL have power,” she declared. “There’s power in our history, in our joy, and in our votes – and we can each use our own gifts and talents to make our voices heard on the issues that matter most to us.”

The timing of Beyoncé’s album release couldn’t be more significant. With crucial elections approaching, Michelle Obama urges everyone to exercise their right to vote. “Together, we can stand up for what we believe in, and we must do that at the ballot box this year,” she said. “The issues that impact us most are on the ballot across the country – from equal pay and racial justice to reproductive healthcare and climate change.”

Beyoncé reminds us in the closing track, “Ya Ya,” that we must “keep the faith” and “VOTE!” Our votes are our voices, and they have the power to shape the future we want to see.

To make your voice heard, Michelle Obama encourages people to register to vote with @WhenWeAllVote while listening to their favorite song on the album.

Visit WhenWeAllVote.org to register now and join the movement to make a difference in our democracy. Let’s follow Beyoncé’s lead and use our power – on the dance floor and at the ballot box – to create positive change in our communities and beyond.
