Michelle Obama is back with a new book, just a year after her bestselling memoir ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“Becoming” hit the ground running. But now, “Becoming: A Guided Journal for Discovering Your Voice,” will be a companion to her critically-acclaimed memoir, featuring an “intimate introduction” from Obama herself.
The new book is filled with “more than 150 inspiring questions and quotes that resonate with key themes in Mrs. Obama’s memoir and that are designed to help readers reflect on their personal and family history, their goals, challenges, and dreams, what moves them and brings them hope, and what future they imagine for themselves and their community,” according to a release on the book from publisher Penguin Random House.
The guided journal is intended to help readers capture the moments in ones’ life journey, according to People.
Last November, “Becoming” topped multiple bestsellers lists with great reviews from critics and readers worldwide. The hardcover copy sold more than any other book published in the U.S. in 2018, according to a press release from her book tour.
The hardworking forever First Lady is expected to return to tour with the release of “Becoming: A Guided Journal for Discovering Your Voice,” as well as continuing to work on a slate of programming for Netflix with husband, Barack Obama.
The journal will be available November 19 for $19.99, according to USA Today.
